No. Halogen's players are designed with offline capabilities. Once you schedule and publish a campaign, the player box downloads and caches all video/image assets locally. If the internet drops, your screens continue playing offline seamlessly.
For most commercial displays, we recommend our specialized IoT Player Box (powered by a Raspberry Pi 4). Alternatively, you can use any existing Windows PC or download the Halogen Signtech TV app if you are running smart Android TV panels.
